"Do I have combat experience?", "Oh well, let's see..."

This was something I was asked several days ago...

Let's see:

Do saving children lives from death at a Nursery Intensive Care or Emergency Room count?.
Do receiving a drowned child at my office, performing the resuscitation and taking her to an Emergency Room; and saving her life without any brain damage count?.
Do working against all expectations to be where I am as a martial artist count?.
Do opening a dojo with almost all beginners and developing and teaching them how to...from scratch counts?.

Oh, I forgot that I once faced a burglar in Pompano, Florida. After trying to talk him to give my purse and passport back and attempting not to let him get into his car I chased him with a customized Mustang through a lot of streets almost like a Miami Vice Series style - but had to let him go when he took the turnpike. I was not willing to kill myself in this violent act...But this was prior to my training in Aikido.
